Ah, a rose by any other name. Sretan Bozic, Ya'at'eeh Keshmish, Chuc Mung Giang Sinh, Joyeux Noel, Feliz Navidad. Oops! Bet those last two gave it away! That's right, Christmas is right around the corner. (Apologies to those who just can't stand the Christmas decorations that magically sprout in stores ten minutes after the Halloween candies are cleared from the shelves:-)

On the other hand, WE have to think about the Christmas holidays now, if we are to bring some Christmas joy to some of the underprivileged kids of the San Luis, Colorado area — one of the two poorest counties in the United States.

If you have some gently used children's clothing, children's games or books not being put to use, send them off to;

Casa de Santa Maria
c/o The Sanderfords
P.O. Box 64
200 Vega Street
San Luis, CO 81152

We'll see they get to those in greatest need. (NEW stuff is good as well:-) Know your kindness will be appreciated.

A Message From Mother Mary

Mary

Greetings My Beloved Ones...

The time of awakening is near.
Yes, the time of awakening
from the dream of sorrow, pain and suffering.
The pain and suffering you have chosen with which
to grow need no longer be your teacher.
Is that not good news?
It is a simple choice of owning all
that happens in your life as a gift from the Heavens.
Yes, indeed, you have chosen the lessons,
and all is good!

My dear children,
you are awakening from the illusion that
there is no Love for you, and in you.
You are awakening from the illusion that
you believe you are not worthy of Love.
You have always been worthy of Love.
Believe!
You are the Holy children of God,
each and every one of you.
No one is exempt from Holiness.
Is that not good news?

Mother Mary

Our Visit To England's Sacred Sites

Returning this past week, words don't flow easily as one attempts to describe a journey like this. We've asked our other pilgrims to share their pictures and we'll be putting together a webpage for those who are interested in learning more about our adventure.

We'll also share some of our experiences in our next Casa-Gram.

Carrying a list of all our Casa members, as we stood in the center of the most sacred 5,000 year old Stonehenge, Susan and I said a prayer for you and your loved ones.

For fun and background you might GOOGLE some of the sacred sites we were privileged to experience on this pilgrimage. Who knows, perhaps one day you will join us when we return. It was one of our most magical trips to sacred sites throughout the world.

In addition to those pictured above, we visited; Doz-mary Pool, Bodmin Moor, St. Michael's Church in Brentor, St. Mary's Church, Belstone, The Church of the Holy Cross and the Mother of Him Who Hung Thereon, Crediton, Wells Cathedral, Isle of Avalon, Glastonbury, Glastonbury Abby, Chalice Well, Glastonbury, Silbury Hill & West Kennet Long Barrow, Marlborough, Avesbury Landscape Temple and Knoll Down.

Our wish is that you will one day have the opportunity to travel this same path.

Vacationing at the Casa

(Right) Jody Pickett, Mocksville, North Carolina, having a spiritual moment at the Casa de Santa Maria last month. (Yes, of course you can have a spiritual experience on a rock pile.)

Not one to just take in the views, Jody was eager to pitch in to help Susan outline the outer pathway surrounding Mary's Garden with some good sized rocks.

(I was busy planning correct rock placement!)

Jody

While visiting the Casa for their second time within a year, Jody and wife Pat found their dream property adjacent to the Casa and have purchased same.

We're excited to have this wonderful couple as (soon to be) neighbors. (We'll save some rock piles for you Jody!)

Contemplating at the Casa
swing

(Left) When Madeline Kurshburg, Rockville, Maryland, recently visited the Casa, she took on a more contemplative approach, leaving the rock moving to others.

Here Madeleine joins Susan on Mother Mary's swing graciously donated by Melissa Hart, Chandler, Arizona, in loving memory of her dear brother Joe who returned to spirit several years ago. (A plaque will soon grace the swing calling attention to the special-ness of Melissa's beloved brother Joe.)

The addition of Mary's Swing to Mary's Garden has brought a palpable peace to those who visit this sacred ground. Thank you Melissa.

Keep Lisa In Your Prayers

One of our dearest and sweetest friends in the world, and one of our treasured Casa de Santa Maria board of directors, Lisa Heiser, was recently diagnosed with a form of untreatable leukemia.

This stronger than life woman has a tremendous grip on what this life is all about, and, although not relishing treatments, side effects, and the like, has absolutely no fear of returning to spirit — "Graduating" if you will.

Lisa's life has been dedicated to helping others, and she has done that so effectively well. A professional counselor for many years, Lisa has just co-authored a book designed to encourage professional mainstream counselors throughout the world to take a look at the healing power mediumship and spirit communication can bring to the table in treating those who seek relief from their grief.

A renaissance woman well ahead of her time, Lisa is the kind of person you'd like to have as a friend, a daughter, a wife or just a neighbor. As that old saying goes, to know her is to love her — and that we do, with all our hearts.

We know that Spirit in its infinite wisdom has a plan for us all. We also know the power of prayer. Our prayer is for Lisa's comfort and strength to handle whatever is her lot. She knows she can count on us for support whenever it's needed.

I know she can rely on you for that same commitment.

The Mind Of Mahatma Gandhi

Gandhi I believe that all the great religions of the world are true more or less. I say 'more or less' because I believe that everything that the human hand touches, by reason of the very fact that human beings are imperfect, becomes imperfect. Perfection is the exclusive attribute of God and it is indescribable, untranslatable. I do believe that it is possible for every human being to become perfect even as God is perfect. It is necessary for us all to aspire after perfection, but when that blessed state is attained, it becomes indescribable, indefinable. And I therefore admit, in all humility, that even the Vedas, the Koran and the Bible are imperfect word of God and, imperfect beings that we are, swayed to and fro by a multitude of passions, it is impossible for us even to understand this word of God in its fullness.

Thanks also to all our Casa Angels who give to the Casa on a monthly basis. And, to those who so generously contributed to both the Casa Fund and the construction of Mother Mary's Garden. You are welcome to join the effort.
