We Just Knew It Would Be A Special Day!

Thursday, September 18th, 2008, like no other Thursday we've experienced I'll tell you. Oh yes! There were signs along the way as to the significance. Susan and I arrived at the Casa property several hours before the Mother Mary Totem Carving was scheduled for delivery.

True, we were looking for signs, and if you look hard enough, you see them. As we approached the Casa, a beautiful cloud formation appeared. You know how you see sheets of water dropping from rain clouds, and it isn't reaching the ground?

Well, this was a sunny day, and sheets of brilliant white were dropping from the cloud, halfway to the ground. We never saw anything like it before. Hum. A sign?

As we continued to work on the spot our Casa garden centerpiece statute would stand — with the help of our two friends (and contractors) Leroy and Gerald -- glancing at the bright sun overhead, Susan exclaimed, "Look at that brilliant pink halo around the sun!"

Point

Anyone see a bright pink halo around the sun recently? Then, as if on cue, two soaring hawks circled overhead. More signs?

Then from his perch atop the gravel pile Leroy gave out the anticipated cry, "Here she comes!" As the boom truck turned into the property, Susan and I felt the emotion rise in our throats as we whispered, "She's home!"

She Asked — She Received

It happened about three years ago, shortly after we had surrendered to Jesus' request to help create a healing Casa, "For My Mother!" As Susan and I drove back to Sedona, Arizona after our second visit to San Luis, Colorado, Mother Mary shared with Susan, "Have a Native-American carve a totem statue of me and place it in the center of my garden. It is to be the first item in the garden!"

I asked, "Why a Native-American?" Her poignant response, "To honor the first people of this land. Those who suffered greatly to survive. Also, it will serve as a sign that this place is for all people without regard to race, creed, religion or skin color."

And now she stands in the center!

And Jesus Said

I know what some of you are thinking right about now! "Jesus, Mother Mary, where does the non-denominational part come in with this place called Casa de Santa Maria?"

Well, when we asked Mother Mary, "Why choose US, we're not even Catholic?" her response was, "Well, neither am I!" It was then we realized she was the Divine mother of us all! The Catholic's were the first who were wise enough to embrace her, but should that rule out all others who now choose to accept her love and guidance as the great Divine Jewish Mother that she is? Of course not.

How much more revered can you get than to be chosen by the Creator to give miraculous birth to that one who embodies the Christ Energy? While visiting Medjugorje, Bosnia in 2003, she asked of us, "Introduce me to a new audience, and reintroduce me to those Catholics who have been wounded by the church!"

Thus, we two former Fundamentalist Christians look past God According To Man, and see the truth that God is pure love. That being the case, that being the truth -- pure love equates to a belief and practice of acceptance of all, a tolerance of all, a love for all. ALL, not a select few!

Not an easy road to travel, but no one said it would be. (Especially when you are faced with extremists of any kind who do not embrace or follow this heavenly philosophy.) It is the path to take though! Not a doubt in our minds.

Getting back to what Jesus shared with Us. "My Mother's living healing presence will reside at Casa de Santa Maria!" Susan and I believed it then, and we must admit we believe it even more since her statue sits in the middle of her garden.

The first picture we had developed after her placement shows the statue engulfed in a giant orb. (Not easily seen by the eye, but definitely there.) Also more clearly seen is a beautiful ray of pink energy either reaching into, or emanating from the statue. We know it's not from the sun because the sun is at her back and this ray shows up on her face.

RAys

Yes, Casa de Santa Maria, is a non-denominational place for all to connect with the divine — located in San Luis, Colorado, as well as on the world wide web at www.casadesantamaria.org. We'd love you to get involved in spreading the mission — in fact, becoming an active part in it through your prayers and financial support.

Want A Little More?

"Are you sure you want to share this part?" quizzed Susan. "Hey, we've already gone way past the spiritually-correct No Trespassing sign!" was my reply.

As Susan stood watering the gravel that would soon act as the base upon which Mother Mary's statue would stand, she glanced to the sky. Doing a double take, she placed the hose in a safe spot, then looked again, only to find it had vanished.

"MIlt, I think I just saw a UFO over there!" I thought, "Today, any thing is possible!" Standing nearby, our dear friend Rafael just smiled. Then it was on about our business.

Later that night as Susan was reviewing the pictures we took on this special day, Susan gasped and screamed for me to come into the office. She's in the habit of magnifying the pictures we take, searching for spirit orbs. "See this pinpoint spec right here? Watch when I magnify it!"

Sure enough, it appears to be a UFO, possibly the one Susan had seen with the naked eye just hours before.

Our guess is they either knew about, or were attracted to, this new energy entering the Casa space, and they wanted to check it out.

That's our story and we're stickin to it!

If You Haven't Seen Enough here's video footage of the installation

If you would like to see the additional 15-snapshots at our Kodak Gallery send us an email and we will send you the link. casadesantamaria@mac.com

And so it is in this sleepy town called San Luis, Colorado — first and oldest town in the state of Colorado. (And now home to the Casa's Our Lady Of Light! as she has asked to be called.)

Lots of love,

Susan & Milt Sanderford
