March Banner

Lions and Lambs

In San Luis, Colorado, home of the Casa de Santa Maria, March came in like the king of beasts in rare form. Brutally cold winds and a mini snow storm buffeted this otherwise peaceful. village. You know what that means? A gentle entrance into spring as March comes to a close.

Sounds really good to we transplanted tropical flowers, but that old adage has the locals in stitches. "March, and even April, will bring lots of cold high winds and wet snow, so don't put away your winter clothing!" Hum, they seem to take unusual joy in sharing that reality with us. They'll find out we're truly hardy souls — in lamb's clothing...

A Message From Mother Mary

Mary

My Dearest Children...

You were created to be love in a world of pain.
Wipe my children's tears.
You were created to give hope to a lost world.
Forgive my children's mistakes.
You were created to find the good in everyone.
Encourage all who cross your path.

Know that I love every child of God,
as much a I love each one of you.
Love my children until they can feel my arms
surrounding them in love's embrace.
Caress their face and remind them they are loved.
Hold their hand and walk by their side
as they look for peace within their own hearts.
Look in their eyes and remind them
they too are loved by God.

Just love, and the whole world will right itself.
The dream of pain and suffering will drift away
into nothingness to be remembered no more,
and you will awaken to the glorious memory
of having never left the heart and love of God.

Your Devoted Divine Mother

Casting A Web of Help

Web

We're busy at work revamping our Casa website. Initially it was geared to be informative while introducing the idea of the Casa to people. We want to keep that same flavor as newcomers visit our site, but it's now time to make our website more helpful to folks who are in need of relief from grief and confusion in their day to day lives.

The Casa's mission is to help folks heal from broken hearts, to assist people in finding their purpose as they travel this earth journey, and to bring comfort, peace and Joy to the soul by sharing our experiences and truths.

Until the Casa de Santa Maria becomes an actual place where seekers will visit from all over the world, our website IS the Casa. You can help make it a better place with your comments and suggestions.

Check out our updated home page, and prayer request page. Soon we'll be adding a powerful FIND HELP page that will address things like healing from grief, loneliness, searching for life's purpose, et al. That page will have the written word, visuals, and audio messages as well.

Your interest, your caring, and your love, will produce fruit through this beautiful effort. Jesus said the establishment of the Casa de Santa Maria was in honor of His mother. He also said His mother's healing energy would literally reside at the Casa.

We believe that includes the Casa website as well. Your prayers and financial support will manifest many miracles. We've been promised nothing less!

Meet Our New Casa Board Member

Susan and I met Lisa Heiser when we presented at a conference on Cayce On Life After Death, at the Association For Research and Enlightenment, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, in 1999. Although the connection was brief, we were instantly aware our paths would cross again, in a most meaningful way. Lisa's sparkle and zest for life had a profound effect on us. Over the years we have become dear friends — and our lives have been better for the knowing.

Lisa Heiser

We are so proud to announce Lisa has accepted appointment to the Casa de Santa Maria's Board of Directors. Welcome Lisa. Read more about this wonderfully gifted woman by going to www.casadesantamaria.org/directors.html

And Baby Makes Three

Molly & Tucker

A conversation between Susan and Milt about six months ago! (Such a naive time it was!)

"Tucker our cat is so much fun. He's brought so much joy to us, and you can tell he really enjoys our undivided attention! Let's not even think about adding another pet!"

Ah, how life can change in an instant.

Three months ago along came Molly, pressing her pink nose to our kitchen window on a freezing rainy night. How could we resist taking her in, although admittedly anticipating upset in our peaceful routine.

Molly came, she saw, she conquered! As a result, she has added so greatly to the fun and joy we experience. What a sweet spirit, so giving, and needing so little in return.

Tucker wanting it all to himself? Forget it! He and Molly are best buddies and his life seems so much fuller and joyful. Susan and mine certainly are.

Enter Spirit Girl, a one year old full blooded Australian Shepherd (Blue Merel). We awoke six days ago to find this beautiful (but very dirty and bedraggled) dog collapsed on our deck. It took two days of TLC to get her stamina up, then we took her to the Vet for an overnight stay.

After a thorough examination, shots, worming, a nice medicated bath (and of course a blow-dry) she's frisky as a pup and loving life.

You can't believe how sweet and intelligent she is. On a walk, if she gets too far ahead, when you tell her to stop, she drops and waits for you to catch up. She makes not a sound all night, and will let you know when she needs to spend a few minutes outside.

Susan has found the perfect companion to make the daily two-mile post office jaunt. (While I finish morning coffee and watch the Today Show.) Spirit Girl even endures Susan's forced Red Bandana Fashion Statement with love and great tolerance.

Hmm. We keep getting adopted, and life becomes funner and funner. Dear friends, I present to you Spirit Girl. The newest member of the Casa (and Sanderford) family...

Angel Wings

Believe it or not — your $10 contribution could help bring thousands to the Casa. Here's your chance to become a
Casa Angel!

To insure the successful development of the Casa de Santa Maria non-denominational spiritual center, we are in the beginning stages of applying for grant monies from a number of philanthropic organizations.

To supplement the occasional larger donations the Casa receives, for those who can afford, we are asking you to become a Casa Angel by pledging $10 or $20 monthly to the Casa General Maintenance Fund. You can pay monthly by personal check, or with your credit card through our PayPal automatic subscription program.
