The Sun Rises — and the Desert Blooms
It seemed a harsh and unforgiving landscape when we first visited the San Luis Valley some three years ago. Mother Mary said "Visit the town of San Luis!, in Colorado!" so we did! "But we're NOT moving there!" was our response.
"Surrender to the land and your commission!" was her reply. So we did!

In May of 2005, Susan and Milt were called to visit with the spiritual medium and world renowned healer, John of God in Abadania, Brazil. His Casa de Dom Inacio is where John of God and hundreds of healing doctors and holy saints, who reside in spirit, work on helping people heal on all levels — physical, emotional, and spiritual.

It was an incredible experience, and one of many miraculous happenings occurred during a special mass on Sunday, May 22nd. While meditating Susan received the following message from Jesus.
“We need you and Milt to create a healing Casa!” — I was surprised and overwhelmed by the enormity of the message, but elated.
Because of encounters with Jesus and Mother Mary during our visit to sacred Medjugorje, Bosnia in 2003, Milt and I have realized Mother Mary was bringing a shift to our work — but establishing a healing Casa in America much like John of God’s? Never in our wildest imagination.
Now I was being told by Jesus that the Casa de Santa Maria is where Mother Mary’s healing presence and energy will reside, along with hundreds of other healing saints, to help bring about healing in people's lives.
My immediate response upon hearing those words was. “But Jesus, what about you? Should you not be in the forefront?” His beautiful response — “It’s for my mother!”
The next day, in meditation, Milt received the Casa Mission Statement:

“But we're not even Catholic Mother Mary!” “Well neither am I!” she replied. It was then we realized she was the beloved mother of us all! The quintessential Jewish Mother!
The Casa de Santa Maria has been inspired by the Love of Jesus for His beloved mother. Everyone is her child, yes that includes you! When we invite her into our lives she teaches not only how loved we are by God, but how to love ourselves as God Loves us.
Then Mary informed that the Casa de Santa Maria would be a spiritual oasis for people of all faiths — and no faith. A simple place of beauty and serenity where all would be welcome, in love, to pray, meditate, and be drawn closer to their Divine connection.
To offer clarity to one's purpose

Where do we begin? "The first step" shared Mother Mary, "Find a Native-American totem carver and have him carve a statue of me for the center of my garden at the Casa. That is to be the first item placed on the land. My gift of welcome to the area residents. The faithful."

On June 26 Susan had the following dream:
I was looking out a window and was observing what looked like a Solar Eclipse. I called my friends who were in the room with me to go outside to look at it. It seemed a strange event that really had my attention. When we got outside we were standing in front of a large field that looked similar to Mother Mary's Garden at the Casa. I looked across the field and Mother Mary was standing there. I ran across the field to greet her but by the time I got there she had disappeared.
The next day I realized there is going to be a Lunar Eclipse on July 7th, and Solar Eclipse on July 21. I immediately wondered if Mother Mary was going to appear somewhere on that day, or perhaps her energy is coming in stronger at the Casa that day? I wasn't sure but the dream seemed significant. Then…
On Thursday, the last day of the landscaping installation I knew something was going to happen, but wasn't sure what it was. Milt and I went to Rosa Mystica for lunch while the guys were finishing the landscaping. We were sitting outside and I ordered a cappuccino.When I took my first sip I had a very strong flashback experience of sitting at a cafe in Medjugorje. The peaceful energy of Medjugorje flooded my being so strongly it brought tears to my eyes. The feeling lasted just a few minutes but was a powerful experience — One of the things that I've asked for the Casa was that folks would be able to feel Mother Mary's presence as you can in Medjugorje. The peaceful feeling there is palpable.
Since the installation of the landscaping around the statue and the placement of the two stone circles, there has been a very powerful energy shift at the Casa. It is a very mellowing, peaceful feel.

A message from Mother Mary to all:
Greetings my dear beloved ones…
Imagine the possibilities of miracles — the possibilities of miracles within your own heart, within your own life, and within your own world.
You, my dear children, are each a Divine miracle. And, you can give miracles to the world. The way you open your heart to miracles is to open your heart to Love. Divine love that surrounds you, becomes you, lives in you, and penetrates every cell of your being.
As you welcome this Love into your life, miracles begin to happen all around you. It is not a matter of wishing them to occur. It is a matter of opening your heart to them. They exist in all forms and all ways. When you surrender to the ideas that miracles can happen in every moment of every day, you then allow the world to see them. They are ever present yet most are not aware of them.
My dear children, as you open your heart to miracles, we want to help you understand that miracles are nothing more than the creative thought of your own mind, your own intent, your own love. Thought and love that exudes and moves through you to unblock the channels so Divine Love can flow.
My dear children, the most important thing to understand here is not to focus on the miracle, but to focus on the Love. Connect, think, and dwell on Love. Invite Love into your life. Ask Love to become you. Ask Love to remove the barriers that prevent you from seeing the miracles already happening all around you.
Yes, my dear children, you are a miracle, you are love, and you are divine. Within you is the ability to create magnificent miracles through Love. Through love, miracles will manifest in your life.
You may ask, “How will I know a miracle when I see it?” More importantly, you will know a miracle when you feel it. With miracles will come the feeling of understanding, the feeling of Love, the feeling of shifting, the feeling of knowing a new perception and understanding of your world has changed to a feeling of peace. And, that my dear children, is the miracle.
We would like to invite you today, to sit a few moments to welcome miracles and Love into your life. Take a few moments to open your heart and imagine Love pouring forth into your heart, then out of your heart miracles will flow.
Know, my dear children, how much you are loved. As you continue to seek help, we will come, and help. You are loved more than you know!

San Luis, ColoradoThe Casa de Santa Maria — A place of healing? WILL it be? Of course so. Jesus surely wouldn't lie.
Yesterday, Sunday morning, July 5th, Susan and I were watering the new sod at the Casa Garden. We waved at a car that slowed down to check out the new activity. Happily, the people accepted our invitation to stop in, our first visitors since the garden completion.
It was Donald, the owner of the San Luis Speedway Auto Repair Shop, and his dear elderly mother Ida. Strangers to us — then, but no longer! "We're glad you waved, else we likely would not have stopped! smiled Donald. "Mom wasn't feeling well today so we decided to take a drive and get out of the house!"
Ida, walking slowly with a cane, remarked at the beauty of Mary's Garden, and stood in silence for a few minutes. "You know, as I stand here and feel this beautiful energy, I feel better than I've felt in a long time!" Her son shared, "It does feel different here. Very peaceful!"
Driving away, we could hear Ida say "I can't wait to come back son!"

Thanks to the love and generous contributions of our Casa de Santa Maria supporters from throughout the country we're able to present the above visual progress report — the 84 foot diameter completed center section of, what will eventually be the 300 foot diameter Mary's Garden. (Four all-weather wooden benches surrounding the Native-American totem carving of Mother Mary will soon be in place.)
While we're currently working on the Star Child Stone Circle and the Sacred Stone Circle located in the outer garden, the next phase of this inner circle will be the addition of a twelve foot band of grass that will eventually become home to seven beautiful wind sculptures, (Three having already been donated), and statues of spiritual icons representing the worlds major religions.
Our Casa Creation Fund has been depleted by the work to date, so we are putting out the call for your consideration.
