Wisdom From the Wise

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.

We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, successful, beautiful, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? For you are a child of God!

Your playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other's won't feel insecure around you.
We were all born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us — it is in everyone!

As we allow our own true light to shine,
We unconsciously give others permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fears,
Our presence automatically liberates all others.

Join Our Pilgrimage to Sacred Sites in England!

Stonehenge

Aware or not, if you travel to sacred places
you return home to anchor that energy where you live.

Doing so, you are helping our planet to ascend.
You become a carrier of Truth and healing. As you heal,
you spin a broader web of healing energy everywhere you go.

Imagine this. It's dusk, the moon is rising and the smell of freshly mowed grass is heavy in the air. You are standing in the center of one of the most powerful and revered of ancient sacred sites, the majestic megaliths of Stonehenge. Walk among them, meditate, touch, sense.

Not just a walk-through but a full hour of private visiting for our tour group.

This can be your reality if you join us on our Sacred Sites of England tour in August. And that's just one of many moving sites we'll be visiting. Because of the expertise of our guides, you will experience these ancient and sacred places as few are privileged to do

Visit www.casadesantamaria.org/england.html for the trip details.

There are just twenty two available spaces for this trip of a lifetime. Susan and I would so like to have the pleasure of your company. Expect many surprises along the way.

Following Life's Directions Can Be Tricky

Car "Slower than the speed limit? No sir, I was doing the speed limit exactly ... twenty-two miles an hour!" the elderly woman said a bit proudly.

The State Trooper, trying to contain a chuckle explained to her that 22 was the route number, not the speed limit.

A bit embarrassed, the woman grinned to her companions and thanked the officer for pointing out her error.

"But before I let you go, Ma'am, I have to ask... Is everyone in this car OK? These women seem awfully shaken and they haven't muttered a single word this whole time," the officer asked.

"Oh, they'll be all right in a minute, officer. We just got off Route 101!"

You May Recall

Mother Mary instructed, “Locate a Native-American totem carver to make a statue of me that will stand 10-feet high. That is to be the first item placed on the Casa grounds.” (In the center of Mary's Garden.)

Within a month we were led to the chief of the Haida Tribe in Alaska, Guugwaangs, (Lee Wallace), who just happened to be a master totem carver. Being a deeply spiritual person, upon hearing of our plans for the Casa, Lee felt a close kinship to the effort. So much so, he offered the Casa a generous discount to do the totem statue.

After searching for over a year for the scarce Western Red Cedar tree, we are pleased to announce the log has been delivered to Lee's workshop in Ketchikan, Alaska.

Behold, the log!

The Tale of Three Trees

Trees

Once there were three little trees who all had a dream of what they would grow up to be one day.

Tree #1 hoped to become a beautiful treasure chest.
Tree #2 hoped to become a strong ship.
Tree #3 hoped to grow straight and be the strongest tree in the forest.

Time passed and one day 3 woodsmen came and cut down the 3 trees. They were each made into something that was far from their dreams.

Tree #1 was made into a feed box for animals.
Tree #2 was made into a small fishing boat.
Tree #3 was cut into long straight beams and left alone in the dark.

Many years passed and the 3 trees forgot about their dreams. But God had not forgotten.

One starry night in a Bethlehem stable, tree #1 held the greatest treasure in the world — baby Jesus.

One evening a great storm arose and tree #2 didn't think he could keep his passengers safe. Then one man who had been asleep in the boat arose, and he calmed the storm, and the tree knew that he carried the King of Kings across the waters.

Finally, tree #3 was made into a cross, and a man was nailed to it. High up a hill, He died on that cross. That Sunday morning he knew that man was Jesus.

God always had a plan for those 3 tress. They thought their dreams had been forgotten, but God had a different plan to fulfill their dreams. God's plans are always the best. Trust in God to show you the perfect way.

Remembering Martin

MLK Our thanks to Martin Luther King, Jr. for being the wayshower that led us to a more perfect nation. A man ahead of his time — and fortunate for us!

"Have we not come to such an impasse in the modern world that we must love our enemies — or else? The chain reaction of evil - hate begetting hate, wars producing more wars — must be broken, or else we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation.

If we are to go forward, we must go back and rediscover those precious values - that all reality hinges on moral foundations and that all reality has spiritual control."

Thanks Martin. Your eloquent words ring so true and are so relevant today.

Have A Coming Out Party!

We've received a number of requests over the past several months for our advice on revealing what we are, what we think etc. Coming out of the closet so to speak. "I am gay!" or "I believe in direct communication and help from Spirit!", or "Mom, I no longer believe what my church taught me!"

Things that we've kept from family and friends because of fear we'll be rejected, or fear we will hurt the feelings of another."

I used to think that way as well. I hid who I was and what I believed. My parents were true narrow minded fundamentalists. Communicating with those in spirit? The devil's work!

Spirit has shared with us that we are not responsible for how others react to our truth, and we have no right to try to "protect" others from dealing with the lessons they came here to learn.

Sounds like a tough approach to life, but it has opened my world and my self to — me! You have a choice. Share your truth or hide your truth. How others react is up to them.

So what if your parents become concerned about your eternal soul because you believe differently than they do? They'll learn the truth eventually. What's real and what wasn't. When they cross over they very well may say, "Hum, wonder why no one tried to tell me what was real and what wasn't?"

Not that we want to try to change people to the way we think. That's not it. What we want is to share ourselves with those we love so we can finally accept ourselves — who WE are.

Soul lessons are usually best learned when there is the sandpaper of truth presented to us. It can be rough at times, but oh so enlightening.

Here's the biggie though. Rather than seeking our advice — TRUST YOUR GUT! Trust your intuition in this situation. It will never fail you. We get overly confused when we think too much:-)

And the truth will set you free.

Susan

Become A Casa Prayer Partner

Praying Hands

Our Casa de Santa Maria Prayer Partner program is growing nicely. Become one yourself. We can use your help in this vital area. We average about one prayer request a day. When a prayer request arrives, it is forwarded to our Prayer Partners.

To become a Casa Prayer Partner, please email us at the following address and we'll welcome you to this important service. As many spiritual leaders have shared, "Want to feel better about your situation? Reach out to help another in need!" Here's a way for you to do just that.

One of our prayer partners asked, "I wonder if Mother Mary or Jesus have any helpful advice for the Casa Prayer Partners?" So we asked, and Mary shared; "The intent in your heart gives power to the prayer. Without the sincerity of the heart-felt intent, there may as well be no prayer, because there is no power behind it!"

So, it's not how fancy or fluent your prayer is that matters. It's not the structure or the words. It's the feeling/expression from your heart that gives it power.

Good question. Great answer! We thank spirit each day for our devoted Casa Prayer Partners. Won't you join the team? There is power in prayer. Email us to join!

We would love to hear from you!
