Will There Be Room At The Inn?
Dear Casa Friends, Susan and I received a lovely early Christmas gift last week. It came in the form of Spirit sharing with us yet another part of the puzzle we call, "Waiting for our Casa marching Oh my, are we learning patience — as the revelations often come in dribs and drabs, as opposed to our preference of an instant and final-draft, spell checked, et al — NOW! The gift we received? Two days before Thanksgiving we received a call from the parents of a distraught young woman who was on her way to find the Casa de Santa Maria in San Luis, Colorado. Her mom said "She's driving over 1,000 miles for your help, because she says you are the only people in the world she can trust. Please help her!" Soon after that call we received a visit from this young woman. What her mom said was true. We met with her that evening and the following morning. She was overwhelmed with life, and felt there was no where else to turn. Spirit guided our counseling. We found ourselves wishing the Casa was already built so she could find rest in a safe environment until her next step was revealed. Whether for a day, or a week, we wanted to bring her into our embrace while she healed. We sent her to a nearby hotel and encouraged her to head back home the next day. We were sad we had no place else to offer. The next day we found ourselves thinking of Mother Teresa and her incredible ability to readily welcome the needy and to take them in to be cared for. She was able to see God in everyone, and treated them as such. In meditation the next day, Mother Teresa came to us and shared, "This will be a part of the Casa's role, to accept and help people at their wits end. Many will show up, unexpectedly, and without knowing why. The Casa will offer hope to those with no where else to turn." While we had Mother Teresa on the line, Susan asked, "Not to push, but is the necessary money to build the Casa on the way? It is really uncomfortable for us to ask our friends and associates for money." Mother Teresa's response, "Then tell them it is ME asking for their help." For those in need, will there be room at the Casa de Santa Maria? Mother Teresa asks you to help, and so do we. Happy Holidays... With Love, |

My dearest child... You are the Christ. You are the love of God. You are the hope of the world. You are the Beloved. You are the child I held in my arms long ago. Although his name was Jesus, all of what is holy, good and divine came together to represent itself in that small infant. All of what is holy, good and divine resides in you. Yes, the same Love and Divinity that is within Jesus is within you. Therefore, you are the Light of the world, just as Jesus is the Light of the world. And, oh how I love your light. When you celebrate the coming of the Christ Child this season, know that it is you that I celebrate. I now ask you to celebrate yourselves this Christmas season. Imagine it is you I held in my arms that long ago starlit evening. Imagine the Star that heralded the birth of the Christ Child was also heralding your birth. I touch you with the tender love of my mother's heart, just as I touched my son Jesus. I welcomed each of you into the world, and I rejoiced the day you were born. I now cradle each of you in my loving embrace, for YOU are my beloved child. Mother Mary Through her messenger |

Try it this holiday season, and pray that it carries into the new year. Keep asking for help in this effort to be accepting and loving. You don't have to do it alone. Realize that we all have a number of guides and helpers in spirit, just waiting to help us reach our goal. They will also assist us with any other issues (What we perceive as problems) that seem to block our way to happiness, peace, joy, and contentment. These guides and helpers have many names. Whomever you pray to, be it God, Allah, Jesus, Quan Yin, Buddah, Mohammed, Mary, Great Spirit, the Creator — we could go on and on. They will help. Just ask and you shall receive! |
