Dear Casa Friends,

Thanks to the many of you who have joined our non-denominational Casa website family. We know that Mother Mary has personally called each of you to join with us in this effort to spread the Love of the Divine Mother to all her children. Your prayers and email encouragements are greatly appreciated.

At times, Milt and I have felt a bit overwhelmed with the task at hand, but when we pray and meditate, Spirit comes back with the message "Great miracles are going to happen!"
Indeed we see the miracles daily with the love connection we receive through you and the others we meet, and with whom we share our mission. God Bumps are getting to be the normal experience for us these days.

As we move forward in this journey we have found that all roads lead back to the simple truth that it is Love that heals our hearts. There is nothing else but Love, and when you allow yourself to tap into this Divine Love, miracles naturally flow. Mother Mary continually reminds us to remember, "You are Loved!"

My dearest children...

Love surrounds you every moment of every day. Love flows in and through you. Even in your darkest moments, love is there holding and caressing you. Love never leaves your side.

For those of you not yet aware of Love's presence, it's awareness will soon come into your heart. It will awaken you to your greatness. It will heal all your sorrows and bring you into the joyful state you deserve.

To hasten this awareness, all you need do is invite this Divine Love into your life. Ask this Love to awaken your heart and mind to its presence. Ask this Love to teach you to forgive, for it is through forgiveness of self and others that you awaken to Love.

Ask to have an experience of Divine Love, for if you ask -- you shall receive. My mother's love showers you with all of my heart and Soul, for you are my child, created in perfect Love.

Dear Susan & Milt,

I would love to be a prayer partner so I can help pray for others.

While reading Mother Mary's messages, I got one myself. I was worried about something and while I was reading and praying, the Beatles song "Let it Be" came on the radio. It starts with Mother Mary comes to me in words of wisdom "Let it Be". I felt so content after I listened to the song and began to cry. I know now to leave my problems in her hands and am no longer worried.

I now know this experience I am having is meant to be. I will gladly accept it now as a gift of God and another opportunity for my soul's growth.

The Church celebrates Mary's birthday on September 8th, although Mother Mary, at the time of Apparitions in Medjugorje (June 1981), informed the children that she was born on August 5th.

How synchronistic that the closing on the house Milt and I will be moving into in San Luis was delayed several weeks. Now the house will close on August 4th, and Milt and I will move to San Luis on August 5th. Mother Mary's birthday.

To commemorate Mother Mary's birthday, as several friends visit the Casa land. we will be holding a ceremony of special blessing for the land, and an official groundbreaking -- on Saturday, August 5th.

While we were staying in Taos, NM, we made a wonderful connection with a woman who owns an amazing antique store. In her store was a shrine to Mother Mary. As we engaged in a dialog with Cybil and shared with her our mission, she began to cry and were filled with God Bumps.

We shared with Cybil that our first task was to create Mary's Garden on the Casa land. She turned and picked up a book, handed it to me and said, "Here you will need this!" I looked at the title and my mouth dropped open and I read: "Mary's Flowers - Gardens, Legends and Meditations" by Vincenzina Krymow.

Who knew there was an actual Mary's Garden Organization — Who knew that there are over a hundred flowers and herbs that have been named in connection with Mother Mary — Who knew there are Mary's Gardens that have been planted in many other places. So Happy Birthday to Our Lady of the Flowers who we will be honoring with a Mary's Garden at the Casa.

We are happy to announce that the land survey has been completed. Our next project will be digging the well and clearing the land to begin construction of Mary's Garden. These projects will be completed as the funds become available. Milt and I plan to get busy with shovels and picks if need be to clear the land by hand if that's what it takes to get it done. (Send gloves, bandaids and epsom salts! :o)

We already have several folks who Mother Mary has called to move to the San Luis area who will be joining our efforts to help create the Casa De Santa Maria, so, we already have a built-in family being formed.

Our master totem pole carver, Lee Wallace, is still in search of the "perfect" western red cedar tree from which he will carve the totem-style statue of Mother Mary. As much as we would like to hurry this project along we know all happens in its own time. So, if you would like to join us in this effort, send some "find that tree" energy out to the universe to speed the process we would indeed be grateful.

We've already created some great friendships with some of the locals both in San Luis and in Taos. We've had a spiritual connection with everyone we've met, and know Spirit is leading us each step of the way. (Even the police chief of San Luis. We'll save that story for next time.)

Soul Portraits

A trained artist who studied in Paris, few people see the world with such optimism and depth as Cornville, Arizona artist, Wendy Byrd Smith.

In an intuitive state, Wendy captures the essence of one's soul through use of color, symbolism and design. She has been referred to in the art world as "a psychologist with a paintbrush."

It was when she asked the rhetorical question, "How do you truly express who a person is?" that the answer came while reading Shirley MacLaine's Dancing In The Light, where Shirley describes meeting her soul.

It wasn't until Wendy moved from New Jersey to Sedona, Arizona in 1986 that her art took this new direction. "When I asked, I was shown my higher-self." She painted that image and her life changed at that point.

Wendy describes her mission as "To help people see the best of who they truly are, through my Soul Portraits." It's a different way to look at yourself, to know more about yourself.

Each Soul Portrait includes an intuited written explanation of the composition.
