Reach Out In Love!

Feeling a bit directionless, Mother Mary's words echoed within my mind. “Reach out in Love.” But what should I do? "The answer will come." she replied.

Guided to visit a local business woman, one of the first people to befriend us upon moving to San Luis, I enjoyed in her warm greeting. "I have a gift for you" I smiled.

Excitedly she unwrapped the package, Pam Smith's powerful new portrait of Jesus. She quietly gazed into the eyes of Jesus. "It's so beautiful" was her emotional reaction. “I've been meditating a lot this week,” she offered, "and have been so discouraged about a number of disappointments. Jesus told me that he would be sending me a gift… and this is His gift.

“Well, I agree — I think this was not from me, but I think Jesus was the one who urged me to give this to you,” I responded. She smiled at the thought and said "I can feel his unconditional love in Pam's painting.” I nodded in agreement. We spent the next 20 minutes sharing our experiences.

Our friendship reaching a new level of heart connection, we both felt encouraged — and loved. It didn't end there. Today, Good Friday, Milt and I ran into Marion just across from the Stations of the Cross Shrine.

Her eyes welled with emotion as she shared, "You have no idea how Pam's portrait has helped me. I have been in fear for quite some time. "As I stared into Jesus' eyes yesterday I saw a green pulsating light coming from them. I thought I was going off the deep end, and just then my grand daughter came in the room and stood by me."

For a moment she stared at the painting of Jesus and asked, "Did you see that? Jesus winked at me and told me to tell you everything was going to be better. There is nothing to be afraid of!" Marion gave us a hug and said "That was my Easter Miracle. I feel at peace."

This Easter season, dare to reach out and love. No telling what miracles may happen! In fact, extend your love all year long!

With Love,
Susan

A Message From Mother Mary

Mary

Greetings My Beloved Ones...

It is a glorious day!
The sun shines… because of you.
The flowers grow… because of you.
The grass is green… because of you.
The rivers flow… because of you.
The birds sing their songs… because of you.
The moon's soft glow is because of you.
The stars twinkle in the night… because of you.
The angels dance in flight… because of you.
Because of you, there is Love!
And love grows… because of you.
Indeed, it is a glorious day!

Happy Spring, Passover, Easter, Renewal
Lillies

What an amazing time of year. So easy to be caught up in the excitement as the world comes alive and winter dreams become all the more possible — downright likely.

That's the spirit here at Casa de Santa Maria. While hibernating these past five months, many positive inroads have been made with the local population, great friendships developing that will well serve the creation of the Casa. (Susan and I have even been asked to act as consultants to the San Luis Economic Development Board.)

Additions of Don White and Lisa Heiser to our Casa Board of Directors have strengthened our administrative expertise that would be the envy of any corporation. Spirit has shared exciting plans, soon to be unveiled.

On Easter Monday the Casa land will be cleared to make way for the development of Mary's Garden. I'll take some pictures of Susan working the backhoe. (I'm not getting up on that thing!!!)

A selection of trees are on order from the Colorado State Forest Service, 180 in all.

Happy Spring, Passover, Easter, and renewal. It's happening!!

"Mary's Garden" on the Casa grounds. (300 feet in diameter)

A Chance To Earn Your Wings

Angel Wings

Thank you to those who responded to our Casa Angel Program, twelve in all. A great start in our attempt to reach the one hundred mark.

Just in case you missed it, here's what the program is all about. Please consider your involvement.

Believe it or not — your $10 contribution could help bring thousands to the Casa. Here's your chance to become a Casa Angel!

To insure the successful development of the Casa de Santa Maria non-denominational spiritual center, we are in the beginning stages of applying for grant monies from a number of philanthropic organizations.

Grant approval will be greatly influenced by the degree of support given the Casa by its friends and interested parties. That support insures success. Now we all have an opportunity to demonstrate that support in visible ways, one of which is by financial contributions.

To supplement the occasional larger donations the Casa receives, for those who can afford, we are asking you to become a Casa Angel by pledging $10 or $20 monthly to the Casa General Maintenance Fund. You can pay monthly by personal check, or with your credit card through our PayPal automatic subscription program.

To become a Casa Angel, (and receive your wings) send your first $10 or $20 gift along with your statement of intent to continue your monthly gifts throughout 2007. (a 10 month commitment.)
